Prices for toll roads in Greece
The fee in Greece depends on the distance traveled and the category of the vehicle. Calculating specific tolls is not easy at all, there are seven separate companies that operate individual sections of the motorway, and the fare is only available on their websites: Aegean Motorway , Attiky Odos , Egnatia Odos , Kentriky Odos , Moreas , Nea Odos and Olympia Odos.
For example, six operators are involved in the management of the most famous highway PAThE (Patra-Athens-Thessaloniki-Evzoni). A handy guide to identifying the operator of a given motorway section is this map . To determine the specific amount of fees, you can use the fee calculator on the Vriskoapostasi website .

Fare in Greece
In Greece, most motorways have a toll system, payment is collected as soon as you enter a section of the motorway.
Payment by cash or card
The fare is collected in cash in euros when passing through the checkpoints. At some stations, you can pay customs duty using a coin-operated machine or credit card.
Electronic fees
There are several electronic fare collection systems in Greece. A particular system can always be used only for a certain section of motorways, depending on the operating company. Unfortunately, there is no single system that can be applied on all highways in Greece. The principle is the same for all systems, the electronic device is placed in the car on the windshield, and the fee is automatically deducted from the prepaid credit when passing through the point of passage.
Aegean Motorway offers eWay, Olympia Odos has O-Pass, Nea Odos offers Fast Pass, and Kentriki Odos has Kentriki Pass. The e-Pass system can be used when crossing the Rio-Antirio bridge and on highways operated by Attiki Odos and Moreas.
