Fare in Belarus
Belarus has introduced an automatic BelToll system, which is mandatory for all drivers of cars and trucks. This does not apply to vehicles weighing up to 3.5 tons registered in the EEC member countries (Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia).
Payment requires an electronic on-board unit (OBU) to be installed in the vehicle. When passing through the gateway, the fee is automatically charged from the driver’s user account. The car is not required to slow down, stop or use reserved lanes. There are 3 types of onboard OBUs for different types of vehicles.
From December 15, 2020, you can use electronic tolls on motorways. The electronic vignette is intended only for vehicles weighing no more than 3.5 tons. Sold on the official website of the operator of the paid system BelToll.by .
Automatic toll collection system for vehicles up to 3.5t
Drivers must rent an OBU from one of the customer service centers shown on the map and place it prominently on the vehicle’s windshield. After registration, you must deposit 20€ into the OBU and pay fees of at least 25€.
You must also present your passport, vehicle registration document and emission class certificate if it is not included in the vehicle registration documents.

Automatic toll collection system for vehicles over 3.5 tons
For vehicles weighing over 3.5t, a deposit of 50€ per OBU is required , a prepaid toll from 25€ to 350€. For cars weighing more than 3.5 tons, in addition to the prepayment mode, it is possible to repay the actually traveled kilometers using fuel cards. The system can be used for more vehicles. Belorusneft, Berlio, DKV, E100, euroShell, Eurowag or Belavtostrada cards are accepted.

Belarus without a visa
From August 2, 2018, you can travel to Belarus without a visa only through Minsk National Airport for a maximum of 30 days. For visa-free entry, you must have a valid travel document, at least 24 € for each day of stay (720 € for 30 days of stay) and health insurance with a minimum payment of 30,000 €. Without a visa, you can go to the Brest recreational and tourist park and the park of the Avgostovsky Canal for a maximum of 10 days through reserved border crossings.
